What is the Middle School Youth Group?

The Middle School Youth Group is the 6th-8th grade ministry at Riverview. Our goal is to help pre-teens/teens find, grow, and nurture their relationship with Jesus and walk their lives out in freedom together. We believe you shouldn’t do life alone.

What is the main goal of the Middle School Youth Group?

It exists to help students find community and stay connected to God. As students attend the goal is also for them to grow through mentorships and friendships with others. As the next generation, we believe in nurturing a strong relationship in Christ and helping students to establish leadership skills.

When do you meet?

Middle School (6-8th) group meets on Friday nights from 6-8pm  at 64253 Solari Rd., Coos Bay!   We also have a shuttle that picks up at Kaffe101 at 5:30pm and returns at 8:15 pm, for any that need a ride!

Question 4

Is their a shuttle to and from youth group?

Accepted Answer

There is a bus available that picks up the middle and high school youth at Kaffe101 at 5:30pm and will bring them back to Kaffe101 at 8:15pm.  If you don’t wish to use the bus, you may drop off your middle schooler at 6:00pm and pick up at 8:00 pm!

What is the adult presence at Middle School Youth Group?

Each Friday evening meeting is attented by at least 2 adult leaders specific to the middle school youth who are background checked.

Our Middle School Group is Riverview's community for 6th-8th graders. We are committed to creating a place where young people can belong, grow, and encounter God. We meet weekly for worship/teaching and seasonal events.
